Effigis is proud to annonce that it will be a bronze level partner at the 2016 Geomatics, hosted by the Canadian Institute of Geomatics (CIG), which will take place on October 19 and 20 at Montréal’s Palais des Congrès.
This year, various facets will be displayed, notably those pertaining to geomarketing, applications for drones and emerging technologies. Effigis is a key player in geomatic industries; come meet our team at kiosks 38 and 39.
During the symposium, Yacine Bouroub, Chief Scientist – Earth Observations at Effigis, will present a lecture using radar interferometry to measure the 2D movements of a Hydro-Québec dam from space. As an invited speaker, Mr. Bouroubi will refer to a study conducted using TerraSAR-X sattelite images to explain a technique that allows slight movements to be measured through differences in the radar signals between two or more acquisitions. This conference will be held on October 20 from 10am to 10:30am in suite 512-B.
